आज newspaper पढ़ रही थी तो एक news पढ़ी जो कुछ अलग लगी कि last week लंदन के एक चर्च में कुछ युवा एकत्रित हुए जिनकी उम्र २५ से ३५ साल के बीच रही होगी | इन युवाओं के लिए बोर्ड गेम,आर्ट किट और किताबें रखी थीं | ईवेंट से पहले उन सबके मोबाइल फोन कुछ घंटों के लिए जमा करा लिए थे | आश्चर्य की बात ये है कि सभी युवाओं ने सहर्ष अपने मोबाइल जमा कर दिए |
ये न्यूज़ खास इसलिए लगी कि आज का युवा तो जैसे मोबाइल के बिना कुछ घण्टे क्या कुछ पल भी नहीं गुजार सकता वहाँ ये युवा अलग कैसे हो सकते हैं ? जब उनसे इसका कारण पूंछा गया तो उनके उत्तर थे कि हम डिजिटल जेनेरेशन के हैं ,हम टेक्नोलॉजी से थक चुके हैं | हम अब फिर से दोबारा असली दुनिया मतलब रियल वर्ल्ड से जुड़ना चाहते हैं | ब्रिटेन सहित ५ देशों में ये ट्रेंड लोकप्रिय हो रहा है जहां युवा पैसे खर्च करके “ऑफलाइन क्लब” जैसे ऐसे क्लब्स ज्वाइन कर रहे हैं | यहाँ युवा खुद को वर्चुअल वर्ल्ड से कुछ समय के लिए ही सही परन्तु दूर अवश्य कर रहे हैं | इन क्लब्स में ये युवा ड्राइंग ,पेंटिंग करते हैं ,बोर्ड गेम्स खेलते हैं,किताबें पढ़ते हैं और कुछ देर अजनबियों के साथ टाइम स्पेंड करके अपना सोशल दायरा बढ़ा रहे हैं | अक्टूबर से शुरू हुई इस मुहिम में अब तक २ हजार से ज्यादा युवा जुड़ चुके हैं | अब यह ट्रेंड दुबई ,बार्सिलोना और पेरिस में लोगों को बहुत पसंद आ रहा है | कुछ युवा वीकेंड पर या कुछ स्पेशल मौकों पर मोबाइल से पूरी तरह से डिसकनेक्ट रहने लगें हैं |
टेक्नोलॉजी बेशक मानव द्वारा मानव को दी गयी एक अनमोल गिफ्ट है परन्तु इसका आवश्यकता से अधिक उपयोग इसे वरदान की जगह अभिशाप, ये मानव ही बना रहा है | टेक्नोलॉजी मानव निर्मित है ,इसका मालिक मानव को ही होना चाहिए लेकिन अब टेक्नोलॉजी मानव की मालिक होने लगी है | यहाँ तक कि AI (आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस ) के विकास के साथ तो ये मानव को ही प्रतिस्थापित करने लगी है|
मंतव्य सिर्फ इतना है इस आर्टिकल को लिखने का कि टेक्नोलॉजी हमसे है ,उसका उपयोग हमने अपनी सुविधा हेतु किया है ,स्वयं उसका गुलाम होने के लिए |
किसी भी देश का युवा उस देश की ताकत होती है , टेक्नोलॉजी उसे इतना खोखला नहीं बना सकती कि देश का भविष्य एवं स्वयं उसका भविष्य अंधकारमय हो जाए |
आवश्यकता है आज के युवा को इसी तरह जागने की |
While reading newspaper today, I read a news which seemed different that last week some youngsters, whose age must have been between 25 to 35 years, had gathered in a church in London. Board games, art kits and books were kept for these youngsters. Before the event, their mobile phones were collected for a few hours. The surprising thing is that all the youngsters happily deposited their mobiles.
This news seemed special because today’s youth cannot spend even a few hours or a few moments without a mobile phone, how can these youngsters be different? When they were asked the reason for this, their answer was that we belong to the digital generation, we are tired of technology. We now want to connect with the real world again. This trend is becoming popular in 5 countries including Britain where youngsters are spending money and joining such clubs like “offline club”. Here the youngsters are definitely distancing themselves from the virtual world, even if only for some time. In these clubs, these youth do drawing, painting, play board games, read books and are increasing their social circle by spending some time with strangers. More than 2 thousand youth have joined this campaign which started in October. Now people in Dubai, Barcelona and Paris are liking this trend a lot. Some youth have started to stay completely disconnected from their mobile phones on weekends or on special occasions.
Technology is undoubtedly a priceless gift given by man to man but its excessive use is making it a curse instead of a boon, it is man himself who is making it. Technology is man-made, man should be its owner but now technology has started becoming the owner of man. Even with the development of AI (Artificial Intelligence), it has started replacing man.
The purpose of writing this article is that technology is from us, we have used it for our convenience, to become its slave. The youth of any country is the strength of that country. Technology cannot weaken it so much that the future of the country and its own future becomes dark.
Today’s youth needs to wake up in this way.
